La Riviere, your summer and winter playground, is home to a variety of recreational and social events. Nestled in the Pembina Valley, between the Pembina River and Mary Jane Creek, and adjacent to Holiday Mountain Resort, the views are spectacular. There is golfing, canoeing, ski and snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, bird, turkey and deer hunting, walking and hiking trails, nature watch station, curling and community suppers, just to name a few.
Our village has a population of approximately 250 people representing all age groups. We boast paved streets, excellent drinking water from private wells, sewer, landscaped yards, well-maintained public areas and a variety of community facilities. We are home to the wild turkey and we are the Pembina Valley!
