Gourmet Alley (11 a.m. - 4 p.m.) - onsite cuisine prepared by local and other restaurants featuring foods served using honey, garlic or maple syrup
Kinsmen pancake breakfast (7:30 a.m.-10 a.m.) - the local Kinsmen club are offering a pancake breakfast with pancakes and ham served with real maple syrup. Cost is $5.50 with proceeds going to local Kinsmen projects.
Free Stage Featuring Western & Folk Music (11:00a.m.-4:30p.m.) - a host of local talent will be performing for your listening pleasure on the free stage during the day. A dance floor will be added for your dancing pleasure.
Craft Show & Sale (10a.m.-4p.m.) - There will be a maximum of 30 craft tables set up to display and sell homemade items. If you are interested in being a part of the crafters contact Wilf and Wilma Hildebrand at 204-242-2409. A great opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping.
Farmer's Market(10a.m.-5p.m.) - In the large tent area outside the arena a variety of vendors will be set up. Among these will be a collection of Farmer's Markets as well as other vendors selling or demonstrating their products. If you are interested in having a spot in the tent contact Barb McLean at 204-242-2745.
Pembina Valley Saloon (11a.m. - 10:00p.m.) - featuring Manitoba Beer and Fine Canadian Wine and other beverages. Free Beer Tasting will be featured and there will be dinner entertainment by The Piano Man. MLCC Approval #17/08
Honey, Garlic, & Maple Syrup vendors (10a.m.-5p.m.) - A number of honey, garlic and/or maple syrup vendors will be on site to display products and sell them. If you are interested in being a vendor at the festival contact Bob Webb at 204-242-2041.
Free Food Sampling (11 am- 3 pm)- off and on during the day free food sampling will be offered, while supplies last, inside the tent area. Foods prepared with honey, garlic or maple syrup or local specialties will be featured. Recipes will be available at no charge.
Cooking Demonstrations - (1:00 - 3:00 p.m.) - Cooking Demonstrations will run in the upstairs waiting room of the arena. Local and professional chefs will demonstrate and cook some of their favorite dishes featuring honey, garlic or maple syrup. Recipes and food sampling will be made available.
Children's activities - Beginning at 10:30a.m. Lionel Piche, Magician, Oak Hammock Marsh and other items to be announced. Events sponsored by RBC - Manitou Branch.
Free Draws - all during the afternoon names will be drawn for door prizes if you register at the information desk.
Photo Contest - New this year the festival will be holding a photo contest. Theme will be "Scenes of the Pembina Valley". Series of 4 Photos, - 5" x 7" in sinze, each titled and mounted. Adult & Junior categories. Cash Prizes. Entries may be dropped off Friday between 7:00 and 7:30. Please contact Jennifer Compton at scompton@mts.net for more information. Soap Box Derby (12:30 on Main Street) - this popular event is back again. Racers will be vying for the title in a multitude of age categories with grudge races and individual competitions at the conclusion if time permits. Only the first 50 cars will be accepted. Entry fee is $10.00. General Requirements for Soap Box Derby Cars are: 34-36" width; maximum 80" length; Minimum 3" clearance (bottom of car to surface); Maximum 40" wheel base; Maximum 100 lbs; Maximum 20" wheel diameter and Minimum 4 wheels. Town Tour (12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 depending on interest) - Take a leisurely tour of the town via our comfortable handy van. This tour takes approximately 45 minutes and highlights some of the historical sites as well as some of the new developments of our town. Sign up at the Information Desk.

Buffet Supper - beginning at 5:30 p.m. sharp the buffet supper will feature a tantalizing array of dishes prepared with honey, garlic or maple syrup. Cost is $17.00 per adult, $8.00 per 14 & under, Preschoolers free. Only 650 tickets will be available so reservations are recommended as tickets are usually sold out prior to the day of the festival.
