HY WIRE ZIP LINE ADVENTURES
Hy-Wire Zipline Adventures is a breath-taking outdoor thrill ride. This will have you enjoying the view of the Pembina Valley at Rinnes Point from one of 5 cables, carrying you across ravines from platforms that can be 150 feet above ground.

ARCHIBALD HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Located 6.4KM west of Manitou on Hwy. 3 and 6.4KM north, watch for signs.
An excellent historical museum. Guided tours of the two furnished homes of Nellie McClung (famous author, legislator and women's rights activist), La Riviere CPR Station (Provincial Historic Site) and other areas of prairie pioneer life. Open May-September, noon - 8p.m.. Closed Wednesday and Thursday or by appointment. The Museum is a work in progress aimed at creating a living museum.

MARY JANE RESERVOIR, WALLCRAFT PARK
A beautiful place to relax and take in some fishing. If you don't have a license it's a short trip to Manitou where you can buy one.

BINNEY NATURE PRESERVE
Located 3.2KM west of Manitou on Hwy 3 and 3KM north - watch for signs. Interpertive park with boardwalk and trails. A natural abundance of flowers, native birds and pond life just waiting to be discovered. Self guided tour. Critter Kits are available at the Conservation Office in Manitou for families wishing to do a little critter dipping.

GRANDMA'S MINIATURE FARM
Located 3.2 KM west of Manitou or 3KM south of the Binney Nature Preserve - Watch for signs. Finature farmyard animals, old fashioned wool processing, giftshop. Admission Call 204-242-2289

TOWN OF MANITOU
Manitou is more than just a small town. As a caring community where nearly everyone knows one another it offers a secure, friendly environment for visitors and locals alike. MANITOU FIRE HYDRANTS
All 39 fire hydrants in Manitou are painted to depict either a cartoon charactor or an item from Manitou's past. Take a drive around town and have your camera ready!

MANITOU OPERA HOUSE
Was designated a Municipal Heritage Site in 1996. Buit in 1930, the auditorim (with balcony) is in its original state. Manitou Opera House

PEMBINA WELLNESS OUTDOOR LEISURE POOL
The heated, supervised pool is open to the public in summer months.

MANITOU GOLF CLUB
Enjoy a challenging nine hole golf course. No tee time required. Licenced.

DARLINGFORD WAR MEMORIAL
A unique chapel and lovely grounds designated a Provincial Heritage Site in 1992, holds the names of over 200 men and women from Darlingford and area who answered the call to arms in two World Wars.
An outdoor service is held annually on the first Sunday in July.


DARLINGFORD SCHOOL HERITAGE MUSEUM
The old school building was designated a municipal heritage building in 1987. Built in 1910, the school still has its original brick and pressed tin ceilings. The building houses a museum and the Evergreen Seniors' Club.

La VERENDRYE WAYSIDE PARK
Is located at the Junction of Hwy 3 and Hwy 31 road just east of Darlingford MB.

CALF MOUNTAIN
Tete De Bouef (Buffalo Head, Calf Mountain) was built by natives as a ritual Meeting Place, and was used to bury great men of their time. Indications are that their rituals were based on proximity to the highly advanced Mayan and Aztec culture of Mexico.

PEMBINA VALLEY CAMP
The Pembina Valley Bible Camp is an interdenominational evangelical Christian camp located south of Darlingford on Hwy 31.

PEMBINA VALLEY PROVINCIAL PARK
The park is being developed, to the south, bordering the Pembina Valley Camp. The area is a natural preserve of local wildlife and vegetation. There are some walking trails under development.

MOWBRAY
A Ghost Town that takes you back to the times when Canada and the United States were just beginning. A breathtaking panoramic view of the country side awaits those who venture into its past. You will know you are there when you see the Old CPR station.

St. MARY'S ANGLICAN CHURCH
Located south west of Kalieda off Hwy 528, watch for signs. This little church of St. Mary's at Kaleida was built in 1892 in memory of the Hon. William Winram. Built of natural field stone of red, black and gray with stone buttresses at each corner, it looks like a small country church that would fit into the rural countryside of England.

PEMBINA CROSSING CHURCH
Located south of Manitou on Hwy 244. The little Old Country Anglican church is in the scenic valley on the banks of the Pembina River.

SNOWFLAKE - STAR MOUND SCHOOL
Located in the south west part of the municipality offers scenic and wild life viewing. Star Mound, a Native Burial Ground, is 3.2km west of Snowflake on PTH 201 then 1.6KM north. The one-room Star Mound School, now a museum, on the top of the mound depicts our past.

HOLIDAY MOUNTAIN RESORT
Located in the beautiful Pembina Valley 1KM west of La Riviere. OAK VALLEY OUTDOOR THEATRE
Located in the beautiful Pembina Valley .8KM east of La Riviere. Enjoy the beauty of the Pembina Valley through recreation and drama opportunities being developed at the site. PEMBINA La RIVIERE CENTENNIAL PARK
The Park was a Centenial project. Today it has Serviced and Unserviced Camping facilities as well as Recreational opportunities.

PEMBINA VALLEY SNOWKICKERS SNOWMOBILE TRAIL
Miles of well-groomed trails wind through the RM of Pembina, including the Pembina Valley. Trail passes and maps are available at various locations throughout the municipality.

LOG HOUSE TOURISM CENTRE
Located at the corner of HWY #3 and Main Street in Manitou you will find the �Log House� Tourism Centre. The house was built in 1884 in what is believed to be the CPR style. A committee of volunteers moved and restored the building in a turn of the century style. Furnishings have been donated and the building is open to the public seasonally 7 days a week.

NELLIE McCLUNG STATUE
Located in front of the Manitou Opera House is a bronze bust of Nellie McClung done by Manitoba artist Helen Granger-Young. Starting her career as a teacher in the Manitou area and marrying local druggist, Wes McClung, the couple lived in Manitou until 1911. A plaque on the face of the granite pedestal gives the history of Nellie McClung and her life here in Manitou.
