Pembina La Riviere Fire Department, 516 Broadway Street, 242-3047, Mike Maloney is the Chief of Volunteer Fire Fighters. Well equipped and trained volunteer fire department including 16 certified First Responders.
Garbage Disposal & Recycling
Household garbage is picked up at the end of your driveway every Saturday a.m. There are dumpsters and a recycling shed on the east side of town in an enclosed compound. There is a walk
in gate for the disposal of household waste and recyclables. Following are the hours the main gate is open for disposal of larger quanities.

Summer May 1- October 31
Tuesday 6 PM – 8 PM
Saturday 9 AM – 12 PM (noon)
Winter November 1 – April 30
Saturday 9 AM – 11 AM
Items that can not be taken to La Riviere Waste Disposal site are branches, lumber, wood, tires, gyproc, porcelain, grass clippings, leaves, garden waste. These must go to the Manitou Diposal grounds located at Manitou PR244 to Mile 17N and then 1 mile west.

Wednesday 6 PM – 8 PM
Saturday 9 AM – 12 PM (noon)
Winter November 1 – April 30
Saturday 12 PM (noon) -2 PM
