Fire Protection
Pembina La Riviere Fire Department, 516 Broadway Street, 242-3047, Mike Maloney is the Chief of Volunteer Fire Fighters. Well equipped and trained volunteer fire department including 16 certified First Responders.
Garbage Dispoasl & Recycling
Household garbage is picked up at the end of your driveway every Saturday a.m. There are dumpsters and a recycling shed on th east side of town in an enclosed compound. There is a walk-in entrance for daily use. The gates are open on Saturdays from 10:00am - 12 noon. Items that can not be taken to La Riviere Waste Disposal site are branches, lumber, wood, tires, gyproc, porcelain, grass clippings, leaves, garden waste. These must go to the Manitou Diposal grounds located 1m west of PTH#244. Any questions can be directed to the RM office at 242-2838
